Tantalum Tube

Tantalum can be made into welded pipes and seamless pipes and has a wide range of uses. Seamless tubes are manufactured using extrusion, tube reduction, or deep drawing from sheet metal. The welding manufacturing method is to form the strip first, then form it into a tube shape, and then weld the joints with gas tungsten arc (GTAW).

Applications of Tantalum Tubes
Chemical Equipment: Tantalum tubes are used to make reactors, heat exchangers and other chemical processing equipment because they resist corrosion from strong acids and alkalis.
Medical Devices: In the medical field, tantalum tubes can be used to make a variety of implants and surgical tools.
Aerospace: Tantalum tubes also have applications in the aerospace industry, such as in the manufacture of high-temperature-resistant components and pipes.
Electronics Industry: Tantalum tubes are used in specific components of electronic equipment, especially in applications requiring miniaturization and high reliability.
Advantages of Tantalum Tube
High temperature resistance: Tantalum tubes can be used at extremely high temperatures close to their melting point, which is beyond the tolerance of most other materials.
Chemical Resistance: Tantalum tubing is able to withstand many corrosive chemicals, including strong acids and alkalis.
Purity: Tantalum tubes do not contaminate reactants, which is critical for experiments and manufacturing processes that require high purity.
